For ordinary liquid coatings, the four stages in the drying process are roughly as follows:

1. The first stage is the so-called pear shaped visual impression, which is equivalent to the time required for solvent evaporation.

3. The third stage is the interruption of the track, which is equivalent to the surface drying time.

4. In the fourth stage, the needle no longer penetrates the film, which corresponds to the final drying time.

Description:

The instrument is equipped with a needle holder capable of holding six needles (each with a spherical end) and is powered by a constant speed motor. The instrument is equipped with six glass test strips (330mm × 24mm)； It takes a certain time for the needle holder to walk the test belt at a uniform speed (the time is selected by the operator, and there are four kinds of 6, 12, 24 and 48 hours). The time scale is installed on the side plate, and the scale on it is applicable to four different speeds (6, 12, 24 or 48 hours). These speeds are obtained by adjusting the adjustable motor on the instrument. At the same time, the instrument is also equipped with a LCD screen to display the operating time of the needle holder.
