Description:

The sand content of drilling fluid refers to the proportion of sand with diameter greater than 0.074mm in the volume of drilling fluid that cannot pass through the 200 mesh drying net. Excessive sand content in the drilling fluid will lead to excessive density of the drilling fluid, reduced penetration rate, increased filtration loss, unstable borehole wall, stuck drilling, increased drilling tool wear and other hazards. Drilling Fluids Testing Equipment Znh-1 drilling fluid sand content tester is a simple, reliable and effective instrument for measuring the sand content of drilling fluid. It measures the sand content through the decomposition of filter screen.

The instrument consists of three parts: filter cylinder, funnel and glass measuring cylinder. A 0.074mm ((200 mesh) stainless steel mesh is installed in the middle of the filter cylinder. The glass measuring cylinder is a glass measuring cylinder marked with the scale line of the volume of sample to be added (30ml). The percentage of sand content can be directly read out, and the scale line of 0 to 20% is marked on the glass measuring cylinder.
